Processing Mode Description of CNC Drilling Machine for Boiler Header



Supertime CNC drilling machine for boiler header belongs to high accuracy and high efficiency equipment. This is an essential machine for the boiler industry, to increase the productivity and at the mean time, reduces operation staffs.


Equipment structure is in one way, simple: composed of CNC, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automatic lubrication systems etc. In the other way, complex: composed of tiny nuts, screws, reducer, pipes etc.

A. Single machine processing mode:
1. Start hydraulic pressure on the host side.
2. Clamp workpiece.
3. Tool setting on chuck’s side, bias setting for X and Z axis (setting workpiece zero).
4. Lift Z axis to certain height, start cooling process.



B. Double machine processing mode:
1. Start hydraulic pressure on the host side.
2. Clamp workpiece on the host side (under double machine processing mode, it’s forbidden to clamp workpiece on host and auxiliary sides at the same time).
3. Tool setting on chuck’s side, bias setting for X and Z axis (setting workpiece zero).
4. The Z axis of the auxiliary side can be determined by the moving shaft, but the X axis is the calculated value.
When both machines return to the reference point, double machine X axis moves closer to the location:
Host X axis mechanical coordinates: A
Auxiliary X axis mechanical coordinates: B
Spindle center distance between host and auxiliary: C
Mechanical zero point distance between host and auxiliary: D=A+B+C
Zero mechanical coordinate of the workpiece on the host X axis: E
Zero mechanical coordinate of the workpiece on the auxiliary X axis: F=D-E
5. Lift Z axis to certain height, start cooling process.

Installation Instruction of CNC Drilling Machine for Boiler Header


JXZ CNC drilling machine for boiler header under installation:
Supertime customized design and manufactured CNC drilling machine for boiler header, 23m long in total, after successful inspection and delivery to Chinese users, is now under installation, takes about 7 days.



Main highlights:
BT50 precision spindle, SIEMENS 840D CNC system, high speed drilling, milling functions, vertical drilling with automatic positioning and error compensation systems. Is an ideal equipment for boiler header and tube processing.

Such a huge equipment, surely will take lots of time for installation and commissioning. When you grasp the following points, installation will become easy time and labor-saving!




Installation instruction:
1: BASE LEVEL ADJUSTMENT: Put the two bases on the foundation, and leave 5mm gap in the middle. Use the level meter to observe the relative height of the 8 angles of the two bases. The highest is the reference, the rest is adjusted to the same height, and then use the bar level meter to slightly adjust level, pay attention to the positioning pin of the connecting plate to be inserted easily.



2: ADJUST SPINDLE AND THREE JAW CHUCK CENTER: Axis 30mm in diameter, 200mm long will be clamped by three jaw chuck, install toolbar to spindle, then push the axis, calculate how thick does Y axis need of the gasket, in order to make center correct of spindle and three jaw chuck. Then put the gasket in Y axis direction.

3. ADJUST THE V TYPE SUPPORT MIDDLE AND EQUAL HEIGHT: Middle part adjustment through spindle, install a taper 45 degrees to the spindle, lower the spindle, measure distance between lower cone and V type support surface, make the two parts consistent, in this way, V type support is in the middle. Equal height adjustment by installing the axis to V type support, suck up dial indicator on spindle, lower spindle and charge axis, record the value and Z axis coordinate value, and adjust well V type support based on these 2 values.
